Maybe it's the guy who runs the restaurant down the street. Or your cousin with the trucking company. He's been in business for years. He has customers. He needs money to grow, so he goes to his bank.
And the bank says no.
Payroll is still due Friday. The new truck still has to be bought. He doesn't know where else to go, because nobody ever told him there are other lenders out there who fund deals like his every day.
